Daily planning that stays lightweight.

Plan from real tasks instead of rewriting the same list every morning. Keep tasks in lists, then use smart views and Planner to decide what belongs today.

Plan Today

See what is due, overdue, pinned, or starred before the day starts throwing things at you. No need to check every list separately.

Weekly overview

Drag tasks into days on the weekly Planner so the work is spread out instead of piled onto the nearest available Monday.

Calendar context

Switch to Calendar when dates and reminder times need a visual layout. Month view shows the shape; week view shows the clock.

Good for routines, errands, work, and home.

Common questions

How do I plan my day in OnlyList?

Open the Plan Today smart view to see tasks due today, overdue tasks, and anything you have starred or pinned. Review what needs to happen, reschedule what does not fit, and snooze anything you want to push to another day. This gives you a clear picture of what today actually holds before you start.

What is the difference between Plan Today and the Planner?

Plan Today is a smart view that surfaces tasks due today, overdue tasks, and high-priority items. It is for reviewing and acting on your current day. The Planner is a visual weekly board where you drag unscheduled tasks from a backlog into specific days. Use Plan Today every morning, and use the Planner when you want to map out the week ahead.

Can I add time blocks to tasks?

Yes. Set a reminder time on any task to give it a specific slot in your day. You can also add a duration estimate so you can see roughly how much time each task will take. Both fields are optional and tasks without a time appear as anytime items in the day.

What happens to tasks I do not finish today?

Unfinished tasks with today's date automatically appear in the Overdue smart view the next morning. From there you can reschedule them to a new date, drag them into a day on the Planner, snooze them, or move them to Someday if the timing is not decided yet.

Is daily planning free?

Yes. Plan Today, Inbox, Overdue, Tomorrow, and Next 7 days are all free smart views. Recurring tasks, reminders, and snooze are also included in the free plan. The visual weekly Planner with drag-and-drop scheduling is a Premium feature.

Daily planning vs weekly planning.

OnlyList has two planning modes. The Plan Today smart view surfaces the tasks that need your attention right now: overdue work, tasks due today, pinned or starred items, and anything you have flagged for focus. It is the fastest way to start the day with a clear list.

The Planner view shows your whole week as a drag-and-drop board, a backlog on the left, and a column for each day. Use it when you want to map out multiple days ahead or move unscheduled work into a specific day. Start with Plan Today each morning, then use the Planner when you need to think further ahead.
